About Kingsley Practice
Kingsley Practice is a small engineering team based in Oradea, Romania, focused entirely on transparent, auditable algorithmic trading infrastructure.

Kingsley Practice builds and maintains a platform for automating systematic trading strategies. The platform covers the full pipeline: a rule editor where you encode your strategy without writing code; a backtesting engine that runs your rules against historical tick data and returns a detailed performance report; a risk module that enforces your loss limits and position caps as a separate process independent of your strategy; and a connector layer that routes orders to major brokers including Interactive Brokers, Alpaca, Binance Futures, and institutional FIX endpoints. The platform is designed for traders who have a defined strategy and need reliable, observable automation — not for traders looking for a signal service or a managed account. We do not generate trade signals, manage client capital, or advise on which instruments to trade. Our job is to make sure your strategy runs exactly as you defined it, and that you can verify that at any time.
The company was founded in Oradea in 2019 by a team of software engineers and former proprietary traders who had spent years frustrated by platforms that obscured the difference between a strategy working and a strategy appearing to work. Since launch we have encoded and run over 340 distinct client strategies across equities, forex, and crypto derivatives. The team currently has seven people: four engineers working on the platform core, one dedicated to connector development, and two who handle client onboarding and technical support. We work entirely remotely with clients across Romania and the EU; no physical visit to our Oradea office is required at any stage. Our process is structured around a written strategy intake, an encoding review before any live trading begins, and a post-launch monitoring period of 30 days during which a Kingsley engineer reviews the decision logs for anomalies. We are honest about what the platform cannot do: it cannot compensate for an under-defined strategy, it cannot protect against extreme market gaps that move through a stop level, and it cannot guarantee that past backtest performance will repeat in live conditions. Those limits are documented in our onboarding materials and in every backtest report we produce.
